Sarah Johnson is a therapist, shamanic healer, relationship intuitive, and author who lives in Pennsylvania with her family. She is the author of Scared and Exhausted: How to Understand Your Child, Move Past Fear, and Parent with Ease and founder of Sarah is a Healer, a virtual space for healing and education around animism, healing, and personal growth.

Throughout her career as a licensed professional counselor, art therapist, and shamanic healer, Sarah has guided thousands of individuals through personal healing journeys. She’s had the honor to work a variety of mental health settings with populations varying from young children to adults.

Sarah began her journey after years of issues with substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. These experiences pushed her into searching for healing. In 2010 she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling. She became licensed as a Professional Counselor and Art Therapist in 2013. Sarah started her shamanic healing journey in 2021 with Selena Whittle at the Institute for Shamanic Healing. Each step has opened new doors to exploration and healing. With her one on one healing sessions and teachings, Sarah helps people uncover the disharmony in their lives and heal their relationships.
